Going to have another hugely busy weekend. Planning on running around Vermont taking pictures and maybe talking to a few folks “in the know”. Hope the rain isn’t too bad during the day and that we don’t get chased by A “pigman”(no not a rude reference to the police) in a car.
We spent the weekend in Massachusetts wandering between cityscape and wilds and everything in between (mostly). We wandered about Dogtown and I managed to get lost despite having a (semi) good map. That place just turned me around until I barely knew which way is up. Another weirdness was we seemed to arrived not long after some kind of grass fire. It was incredibly creepy to be walking around on burnt ground especially when most/all the trees weren’t burned. The patterns were so odd and some thing you’d think would have gone up like tinder (old dead trees) were still unaffected.
Very Interesting place to visit!
Now that the weather is warming (ok really hot!). I will be spending my weekends scouring New England with Summer looking at Ghost Towns and cemeteries/memorials. For our new book.
