Exciting times. This is the first of the month that I haven’t seen before. This had some good atmosphere. (The shots of Josh and Renai as seen through a gas mask are excellent. The couple obscured by the grime on the lenses and separated into their own worlds-foreshadowing Josh not being there with his family mentally or emotionally while being there physically. Just like when he goes into The Further)

Children in danger are a way to pump up the tension, but once Cali and Foster are gone, tension is lessened, despite Dalton still being in danger. Perhaps the arrival of Paranormal investigators gives a feeling of safety. An authority figure to rely on. (Even if 2/3 of the team are comic relief). Glad to have (finally) watched this movie.
