This is the third movie in John Carpenter’s Apocalypse Trilogy. If HP Lovecraft wrote ‘Rosencrantz & Guildenstern Are Dead,’ then Stephen King adapted the screenplay for John Carpenter to direct.
It Is a wild ride. It kept twisting but it didn’t get tiresome (I often get irritated with stories that are trying too hard to be clever or keep the viewer guessing. I didn’t feel that watching this).
Great cast! Sam Neil is a favorite and I got excited to see Viggo the Carpathian (Wilhelm von Homburg)as one of the town’s inhabitants.
